We don’t have a scanning software at home and this is one of my sister’s request to buy her one. I’m putting it aside until I have time to ask her why she needs it.

I woke up 2 hours early from my regular time because I have too many things on my desk that needs my attention asap. I just cleaned up all the papers last week.. and here you go another set is piling. We also have to go out for service this morning so this will not be done until I come back this afternoon. Ayaaay! Just praying to be productive today.

For now, I’m not scouting for the best wrinkle cream. I’m pretty much satisfied with my night cream :D This thing is giving wonder to my skin. Very creamy yet my skin absorbed everything and it doesn’t make it oily or cause breakouts.

I’m hooked in buying all my vitamins or health stuff need from Swanson Vitamins. Their products are very cheap yet the ingredients are potent and no fake or copycat ingredients. This wonder cream is only $8.99 and it last 2 months but wait for the sale it can go buy one get one free ;)

I’m very thankful that I got a cheap life insurance policy when I was 25 years old :D Of course, that was the time when my health is far better than what I have now. I know that I will die too but I don’t want it to happen very soon. I want my family to be financially secure if something happened to me. I experienced hard life when my dad passed away at an early age leaving 5 very young kids, with the age range from 3-12.

I feel sad every time I remember it. ;( I’m thankful that my mom didn’t give up in trying to give us life. So, thankful that she relied to God for support, He truly didn’t fail her.

I’m trying to go back scrapping but every time I get on the mood I will see other things that I have to give more priority. Yaaay! Does it happen to you too? So, now, instead of organizing photos good for scrapping, I end up requesting an auto insurance quotes for my friend. Their internet connection was dead for 2 weeks now and she really need new quotes because the other one is expiring very soon. Once I’m done, I will try to get back on my goal to finish my daughter’s baby book.

My mom is telling me that we should make the roof trusses as steel instead of regular wood to make it stronger. I guess she watched home improvement channel that feature metal buildings. She has a point bringing it up on me. Although it cost higher on the construction cost.. it will be paid off in the long run. I’m saving to complete the construction of the house in Manila. Maybe two more years then construction can start. I need to finish paying the lot first then we can do full-blown construction. I’m excited. ;)

Below are the various type of roof trusses.. but these are in wood. I can’t find photo for the metal one.

One of the good things here in the US is the breeze for applying loans or line of credit. :D Majority of the financing company or instructions will run credit reports to see your financial history – how responsible you are in paying your debt. This credit reports will not show your income but a score depending on the history of your account, credit cards owned, any late payments, default payment, amount owed versus credit allowed.. and more. No background check or calling to confirm employment or income verification. Isn’t that cool?

The only drawback is if you’re not responsible enough handling it.. then you will be indebted up to you neck.. where you can no longer breath. Like how we say it “baon sa utang, abot hanggang leeg.”

Almost everyone has a goal.. something they want to reach or accomplished in life. And I’m one of those everyone who always set things to aim. :D

I have long and short-term goasl and set by categories, not by order – Finance (money matters, savings, investment, and shopping), life (spiritual goals and helping family/friends), health, and career (work and education).

My goals are mostly detailed which involves dates when I want it to be done. I’m really not comfortable sharing it.. but one of them is under the category of Health. :D And it falls both on long term and short term goal. Yes, to be healthy without the help of any weight loss products. Possible to achieve and very easy to reach (lol in my dreams). If you have NEED and POWER to do it.. there is no problem reaching it :D Right? There is no impossible things with the help of God.

I’m itching to shop for clothes and shoes. :D I was browsing online for some urban clothes for my brother and stuff for kids. I also need to buy running shoes and pumps for work. I want to go to the outlet tomorrow. Hehhehe My trip in south California didn’t bring me any shopping deal.. that’s the reason why I went home empty handed.

There is an outlet that I want to visit (Ontario Mills) but I need to drive 35 miles to get there. And the traffic is always bad and too many rude drivers. So I don’t want to waste my life with that. Hopefully tomorrow I can find some good deals. ;)

Do you know that for some people imperfection on their skin can cause depression and can develop suicidal tendencies? I read a story of a pretty girl who had a slight case of acne yet was convinced that her face was full of scars. Refusing to be seen in public and the girl later on quit school at eight grade. Isn’t that sad?

I was once have low self esteem because of my pimples and I’m always looking for natural acne products that can help stop my breakouts. But I realized that the more I became obsessed about it, the more people say something and attracts their attention on why I have acne.  Most of the people thought that acne is because of poor hygiene but only recently that I found out that acne is not cause by being unclean or not washing your face regularly, it’s actually because of the abnormal hormones in your body.

I gave up focusing on this imperfection and starting to accept the fact that I may not have good hormones that causing this breakouts but I have other things I should be thankful about. And my acne is just a small thing to compare for other people’s problem. I may have acne..  but I have blessings that can cover this more  than enough. :D

For some who doesn’t know, I work for the state of California. That explains why I have furlough Friday. ;) Having furloughs has good and bad effect. Big bad effect is the decreased in our monthly salary..imagine cutting off 13.85% from your pay. But the good thing about the furlough is spending more time with my family. My furlough Friday is the time to go for doctors appointment, shopping, park hopping and do some stuff for myself :D

Today my to do things includes:

- Mom’s routine blood work

- Check out epson receipt printer on the outlet

- Return books to the library

- Swimming for the kids

- Mee time on the gym
