I’m overweight for more than 10 years now. I’m sad that I keep on gaining weight and having a hard time to control my appetite. I’m just thankful that I can find clothes to cover up my voluptuous body for some glamour event. lol I find plus size dresses at sydneyscloset perfectly. The style and flow of the fabric is just right. You will forget that pressure to lose weight when special event is coming.

Below are some style that I like:

I’m a fan of creative slogan on shirts. I like the graphical or funny t shirts that sends positive message. I don’t like the vulgar or foul languages on my shirt cause that will not describe who I am. I also like to get shirts that my kids can wear. I’m thinking to make my own design and print to bring it to my family back in Manila. I will calculate the cost first if it will be cheaper than buying the made one at the store.

Some stuff that I like:

I noticed that when I get sad or depressed, I want to shop and won’t stop until I get something. lol Not really a good outlet of my emotion but it makes me happy. So far I know my limitation and my finances are not that hurt. I can still control myself in not buying expensive, unnecessary, and luxurious things. But lately I noticed myself wanting to buy more of nike sunglasses. I bought one for my brother once and wanting to buy more.

I have few friends that are Chinese and Vietnamese national but had their family her in the US. Christmas gifts for baby are the latest discussion we had on our lunch last week. They are talking about red envelopes that I think was part of their culture. I don’t celebrate this holiday so I’m kind of excuse not relating to it. But I found it interesting to learn about this tradition that are common to different race.

Anyway, below are some of suggestions they mention instead of a red envelope:

Winter time is almost here and that means shopping for winter clothes for the kids. I hope that my daughter will not ask the MSR Snowshoes that she saw last year. Snow outer wear and shoes are not cheap. Add up to that the park entrance, hotel and food. Living 70 miles away from the snow area is an added factor.. as we can opt not to spend for hotel rooms. But driving back and fort for 2 or 3 days is not fun. So the fun of playing on the snow has always been limited to one day. I wasn’t able to shop ahead of time for winter needs last year. I noticed that stuff are cheaper at the end of the season. I need to watch out for the store sales this year for our needs next year..

A friend just bought her first home and the house warming is upcoming in two weeks. I found some sweet treats for the new homeowner that I can bring. I remember that we had our house warming too seven years ago and most of our friends brought us nice gifts that we’re able to use and enjoy until today. This time I want to give something that will add or symbolize sweetness to come more in her life. She’s currently not in a relationship, no kids, but have nice family and friends. So hopefully finding the Mr. Right will bring more sweetness on her new home.

I’m so in love with this website for their cheap prices of supplies in making jewelry. I can’t believe that I can get a foot of curb chain for less than $3. A real deal for me!
