I appreciate gifts but I’m not into jewelries… that was before, now is a different story. I actually cannot remember the gift I got on our fifth wedding anniversary. I lose track of things.. but I know that I accumulated few jewelries and upgraded some diamonds on my rings and earrings and stuffed animals throughout the eight years of marriage. We don’t give gifts exactly on the date of our anniversary.. only when we can and on “just because” days.

I find it sweet to remember the special day but I want surprises. It doesn’t need to have a reason or to think for a wedding anniversary gifts just for that special occasion. For me buying gifts can be done everyday, if your pocket can accommodate it, or just a note, or a nice deed will suffice and can touch heart. What matter most is the thought for that person.

This cutie bear is enough to melt my heart anytime.. like what I said anything as long as it shows that you remember someone is enough to make the other person feel special.  

We attended a wedding last Saturday and I had an opportunity to document the event. I’m happy to do it cause I can test my lens and speed light. My whole Saturday was full occupied – field service in the morning and the wedding in the afternoon. I did not have time to in the bank to deposit my sister’s money and check the styles of faucets for our bathroom. But I was happy to snap the following photos from the wedding

I didn’t think about green shopping when I bought my lens   Hahaha I’m originally dreaming about the Nikon 18-200mm VR lens.. but I have no $740+ to throw. So I end up to 18-105mm VR lens The price is half of what I originally wanted. This baby will serve my purpose for now I already have 55-200mm VR lens and it was really good. I can’t wait playing it next week… haaayz! For now all I have to do is dream.. till I receive it.

I’m indecisive to get iTouch or iPhone. Both have advantages and disadvantages. I have no problem with iphone warranty or the quality of both products. One of the factor I don’t like with iPhone is paying additional $30 for the data service.

Data service includes text messages and unlimited internet browsing. The cost of downloading software or extra minutes are not included yet. So doing the math of $30 a month will end up to $360 a year.. Money I’m not willing to spend on top of our phone line for that kind of services. Hahahah I’m really cheap.. no maybe just being practical On the other side, iTouch is so good.. but then no phone function. Haaaay! I’ll just wait till iPhone will be offered to our service provider. Maybe the data service will cost cheaper by that time.

Lianne’s Open House is done.. I’m so touched with all the things.. hahaha para ako engeng. I remember my mom never went to my school stuff when I was small. We don’t have open house like that stuff.. but we have PTA meeting. And she’s always busy working and cannot take time off, and we have no dad to take that place. My siblings are also too young to be the proxy.

The feeling is kind of new to me.. yeah, until now coaching things for my daughter’s school is odd. I always ask my husband to do it.. I grew up without someone teaching me or helping me with my assignments. So helping Lianne is hard for me. I don’t have patience when she cannot get things quickly ;( And my husband can do it better because he once was a teacher.

I know I need to be hands on too.. and I’m trying.

I’m actually hands on when it comes to other things, like helping my sister to find a job. I just finished updating my sister’s resume and submitting it for various job opening, like my recent reply to customer service jobs is a proof how active I am on other things. Sometimes we need improvement on some aspects but we also show strengths on other things.

I remember my daughter asking me to buy her binoculars. Yaaay! I said okay but I have no idea how much it cost. lol I have to check on cheap one where she can just play and will not worry about the cost I paid for it. heheh I bought toys that I regret why I spent too much money for it. And I don’t want that to happen again. So I’m trying to be wise in my purchased for the kids.

But buying Barbie clothes for $10 with 5 dresses and 5 shoes is worth it right?

I have health savings account in my previous job and I found it helpful in saving money for big medical or dental expenses. I remember using my HSA account for paying my crowns. And you don’t really save money every month cause you’re just saving your money. A little savings from income tax, since the basis will be lower, but I think it will be huge impact if you will also save more money to your HSA. I’m not sure if my current employer offers it.. yaay! My mistake for not looking at this option of saving money for my tooth implants. That could help lower our tax too for this year. Okay, added to my to do list for tomorrow.

We had our district convention two weeks ago and I took hundreds of photo of our friends and my kids. I just discovered yesterday that the original files from my camera for the first day of the convention was not transferred to my hard disk. ? And I have no way to retrieve the big files now.. I already reformatted my SD Card. Waaaaah!

I’m too busy with other things too.. and the harder for me to think if there’s any chance that I moved it on a different SD Cards. I can’t even focus on the water filter supplier that my husband asked to visit online. Anyway, below is the sample of the edited photos in small files.
