Our new place is great, and all we need to do to make it perfect is put on the finishing touches. We needed to extra space so bad. It feels good to finally be in a home that will fit our growing family. The kids are getting too old to share rooms, and they are psyched about the new house too. My wife is doing a great job decorating, and I am busy painting all of the rooms. I need to search for direct tv antioch and get that going too. If the kids don’t have TV, they are going to drive us crazy. We have been trying to get them involved in setting up the house, but they are showing absolutely no interest and keep on asking us to pay them for their work. I am trying to figure out how to make helping with the landscaping seem appealing, but I don’t know how. It has been unseasonably hot outside, so they are trying their best to get out of helping. I am thinking about offering to take them to the arcade tomorrow if they help today, but I would rather be here finishing up.

I’m busy most of the time and moment like this doesn’t happen more often.

I don’t like boring things, especially in my home. I’ve always liked really exciting things and I like to carry that through into my home decor. Besides, it’s supposed to be my personal sanctuary anyway.

But every once in a while you have to spruce up your personal sanctuary and I think it’s about time for that now. While I was online looking up some info on what I think I should buy, I ran across some info on New Windows. Even though I like my personal sanctuary, I like to be able to look out of some nice windows from it, which are kind of currently lacking in my home. So I’m going to replace all these old windows with that offer.

One thing that I found and thought would make an excellent addition is this cute little striped side table. I had to try and recreate it myself, so I did just that. It fit in perfectly with the rest of my decor and I’m really glad that I decided to go for that project.

To learn guitar is one of my plan to do in the future. I will wait for my kids to grow up a little more and will sign up for a class with them. I just wish that I’m not old enough to learn new tricks. I know there is a saying that there is no old dog in learning new tricks.. but I’m not a dog. lol So it may not be true on my case. Okay, that was a joke. Haaha In regards of learning guitar, I actually bought an acoustic guitar when I was pregnant with my son. And he is 3-year old now. Few more years and my plan to play it in tune will start.

I signed up for an annual subscription with Vision Culture that is under or managed by McKay Photography Academy. The idea of learning photography while doing some charity kind of agrees with my ideals in life. I don’t hate charities but sometimes it depends. I know that a lot of people is making more profit than helping out of it. So I rather support something that I will also benefit. I’m an accountant/auditor by profession and its normal to question operation and financing of the company.

I’m overweight for more than 10 years now. I’m sad that I keep on gaining weight and having a hard time to control my appetite. I’m just thankful that I can find clothes to cover up my voluptuous body for some glamour event. lol I find plus size dresses at sydneyscloset perfectly. The style and flow of the fabric is just right. You will forget that pressure to lose weight when special event is coming.

We originally got DIRECT TV so I could watch all the Real Housewives shows but it is actually created quite a problem in our house. My husband is really opposed to watching TV in the bedroom but I think it’s a really great way to wind down at the end of the day and now feel guilty any time he comes in and I have the TV on. He also really doesn’t like how much TV the kids started watching but I feel like since they are teenagers they need to learn to make their own decisions and we can’t micromanage the amount of time they spend on the couch. Of course I rather be outside playing sports or doing something more productive but we raised them this far and I think it’s important that they make their own healthy decisions about how they want to spend their time. I guess I just never imagined my trashy reality show would become such an issue in our house!

Do you think multi-tasking is good or bad? I heard both views when it comes to this. And personally, I often find myself multi-tasking if I can. I think if it will not negatively affect the quality of your output that is okay; otherwise, you need to focus on only one task and do good.

I’m good in surfing the web in multiple windows, while chatting, and browsing facebook. lol I’m checking millermatic and amazon for studio lights kit, while checking my email and facebook updates. This is the time I encourage myself to multi-task because I have limit on how long I can stay in-front of my pc when I’m home. Do you agree to multi-task in surfing the web?
